2010 Fender HJG-66KC IV—one of the rarest versions of Kurt Cobain’s iconic Jaguar. Manufactured in Japan in collaboration with Ikebe music, they were sold in small quantity and were available as three “degrees of Cobain”—the IV, V, and VI—showcased in the photographed magazine ad (not included).
This HJG-66KC IV sports traditional Jaguar controls—but mimics Kurt’s USA DiMarzio pickups (a PAF in the neck, and Super Distortion in the bridge) and has a factory tune-o-matic bridge. One of only two pre-2015 Fender Japan Jaguar models available with a bound, dot fretboard. The headstock sports a traditional Jaguar decal, compared to the Mexican Cobain reissues.
100% fully functional without issue.
Set up with D'Addario 10-46 strings, playing well up and down the neck with proper intonation.
Includes original Fender Japan gig bag. No vibrato arm.
