Very rare Fender Japan APJ-DMC Aerodyne Precision Classic Special DiMarzio Collection in Flame Brown Burst (FBS) finish—a non-catalog/limited edition model. It features a two piece center-seam curved flamed maple top veneer with alder body, factory DiMarzio DCP-2 and DCJ-2 pickups, satin neck, and dark slab rosewood fretboard.

The entire Aerodyne DiMarzio Collection was short lived, appearing in the catalog for just two years (2006–2007), and discontinued in 2009 (per Ishibashi). Also, FBS was never offered as an official catalog color—and this is the only example I have seen.

100% original and fully functional.

One would be hard pressed to find a cleaner example, especially in this rare color.

Set up with 45-100 strings, playing up and down the neck with proper intonation.

Includes new Fender gig bag and original warranty card.

Condition

Cosmetically the ~16 year old instrument is in overall excellent shape, with minor dings, scratches superficial wear commensurate with age. Factory protective plastic is still on pickguard and pickups.

Chrome hardware has minor patina. Ding on body near bottom strap button. Scratch on top of body behind the bridge. Minor scratches on the back of the body near the input jack and lower horn.

Frets have very minimal wear. Back of neck is clean with no dings.
