2008 Fender Japan Telecaster TN-SPL Thinline Special—incredibly lightweight and resonant at 6.08lbs. This model features an unconventional pickup configuration, paired with 5-way switching that offers a multitude of tones via the USA Texas Special pickups and Dragster humbucker. The SPL is also unique compared to other Telecaster Thinline models, sporting a 9.5" radius and 22 wide oval (medium jumbo) frets.

Manufactured for a short period between 2008–2014.

100% fully functional.

Set up with D'Addario 10-46s, playing well up and down the neck with proper intonation.

Includes original Fender Japan gig bag.

Condition

Cosmetically the instrument is in very good shape, with various minor dings, dents, chips, scratches, and finish wear commensurate with age and play. Typical minor finish cracks at neck pocket. Chrome hardware has patina and scratches. One control plate screw hole damaged, but functional.

Frets have wear, primarily beneath the unwound strings, diminishing gradually as one moves up to the twelfth fret. It currently plays without any buzzing, fretting out, etc. There are a handful of minor dings on the back of the neck.
