2005 Fender Japan STG-135GM Gerry McGee Signature Stratocaster in US Blonde (USB). One of the rarest Fender Japan production instruments—and one of only three hardtail Stratocaster models produced. Like many models, the STG was short-lived, offered from 2005–2008.

Unique features include a burst USB finish, 22 fret neck, and active TBX (Clapton) mid boost.

100% fully functional without issue.

Set up with D'Addario 10-46 strings, playing well up and down the neck with proper intonation.

Includes vintage Japanese padded gig bag in good/fair shape.

Condition

Cosmetically the 20+ year old instrument is in very good shape, with various minor dings, scratches, and superficial finish wear commensurate with age. Minor finish chip on treble side neck pocket. Gold hardware has patina. Pickguard has pick markings from play. Yellow outline/ghosting on belly contour.

Frets have some minor wear/divots in the open chord area beneath the unwound strings, lessening up towards the twelfth fret. No buzzing/fretting out/etc. Fretboard finish has fingernail markings from play. A few minor dings and some finish chipping on fretboard edges. Back of neck is clean aside from a couple minor dings.
