2004 Fender Japan ST68TX WAL/R Stratocaster in Walnut (WAL) finish. This is a relatively rare non catalog limited model, featuring a two piece center seam walnut body, walnut stained maple neck with dark rosewood fretboard and large CBS headstock, and USA Texas Special pickups.

This model was produced briefly from 2004–2005. (Not to be confused with the other wood stained models featuring a sen or ash body.)

100% original and fully functional.

Set up with D'Addario 10-46 strings, playing up and down the neck with proper intonation.

Includes original vibrato arm, warranty card, and robust SKB gig bag in functional, fair condition.

Condition

Cosmetically the 21 year old instrument is in good shape, with various dings, chips, scratches, and superficial finish wear commensurate with age. Chrome hardware has rust/patina. Pickguard has scratches from play. Superficial scratches on headstock edge from string winder.

Frets have been leveled some time in the past, at approximately 50-60% of their original height. There are no divots. Depressions in fretboard from play. Back of neck has several minor dings/scratches.
