1996 Fender Japan JG66 left-handed order model in 3-Tone Sunburst (3TS). Lefty FujiGen Jaguars are super rare, offered as a catalog model only in 1995 as the JG66-97L. This example was crafted just a year after, featuring a “JUL ’96” heel stamp.

It’s been modded and played, with plenty of battle scars. Cobain-style modifications include a Gotoh HB-Distortion in the neck, DiMarzio DP100 Super Distortion in the bridge, TOM bridge, 3-way toggle switch, and chrome knobs.

100% fully functional.

Set up with D'Addario 10-46 strings, playing well up and down the neck with proper intonation.

Includes G&L padded gig bag. No vibrato arm.

Condition

Cosmetically the 29 year old instrument is in good shape, with many dings, chips, scratches, and superficial finish wear commensurate with age. Chrome hardware has patina. Pickguard has pick scratches from play. Clear coat finish crack on back of body.

Frets have some wear; no divots/buzzing/fretting out. The back of the neck is has various minor dings/scratches. Chips in wood at the nut from previous owner's installation.
