1995 Fender Japan JB62/M Order in Lake Placid Blue (LPB) with matching headstock. This non-catalog '62 Jazz Bass reissue is quite rare—one of the only models to feature a one piece maple neck and matching headstock.

Script "Made in Japan" stamp, "N" serial prefix, and lack of an "order" stamp dates the bass to 1995–1996. It may have been produced as late as 1998, as an identical shop order model was featured in a "Limited Edition Matching Headstock" Mikki Gakki ad in February 1998 (last photo).

Recent welcomed upgrades include Fender Custom Shop 60's Jazz Bass pickups and fully upgraded electronics (pots, Switchcraft jack, orange drop capacitor).

There are many additional photos on our website showcasing more in-depth condition details.

Note: This bass has been professionally set up with 40-95 strings for a light touch and plays well with low action. However, the truss rod is maxed out (an unfortunate discovery after import from Japan). As such, I've marked it down $550 from previously sold examples.

Includes padded Sterling gig bag.
