1994 Fender Japan MG69-120 Custom Edition Mustang in See-Through Black (SBK) finish with matching headstock. This non-catalog, shop order is the highest-tier and most expensive Mustang produced during the FujiGen era of Fender Japan. It features a two-piece center seam ash body, factory Fender Lace Sensor pickups, medium jumbo frets, and matching headstock with a simplified "Fender" decal.
SBK is one of the rarest custom colors, only available as a finish on a single catalog model (the JBR active Jazz Bass) between 1990–1994. Despite the name, it is translucent mocha in appearance.
Manufactured at the FujiGen factory. Order number "Y-156", commissioned by Yamano Music. Original warranty card dated December 23, 1994.
100% fully functional.
Set up with 10-46 strings, and plays well up and down the neck with proper intonation.
Includes rare Fender Japan optional hard case, original paperwork, and string tree. No vibrato arm.
