1993 Fender Japan PB70 PJ Precision Bass order in Natural (NAT). This is perhaps the only known PJ order model with a normal vintage aesthetic and PB body. I've previously owned a sunburst example from this same order number.

Factory Badass Bridge, side input jack, reverse wind tuners, Jazz Bass neck with narrow nut, and 2-piece center seam ash body.

The upgraded DiMarzio DP-127 sounds insane.

Produced at the FujiGen factory in Japan. Order (K-462). "O" serial prefix and "3" pot stamps date the bass to 1993.

100% fully functional.

Set up with 50-105 strings, playing well up and down the neck with proper intonation.

Includes original Fender Japan gig bag.

Condition

Cosmetically the 30+ year old instrument is in good shape, with various dings, chips, scratches, and finish wear commensurate with age. Finish has yellowed with age. Chrome hardware has patina. Pickguard and pickup covers have pick markings/wear from play. Light buckle rash on back of body.

Frets have wear, primarily beneath the low "E" and "A" strings on the first several frets—diminishing as it progresses towards the twelfth fret. Minor buzzing, no fretting out.

Finish chipping on fretboard and neck shoulders from play. Back of the neck is relatively clean, with a handful of very minor dings. Minor dings on tip of headstock.

Modifications

- DiMarzio Pickups: Split P (DP127), and Model J (DP123) or Ultra Jazz (DP149)
- Electronics modified with pickup selector (stock configuration was volume, volume, tone)
- Upgraded metal done knobs
