1992 Orville by Gibson LPC-FM Les Paul Custom Flamed Maple in Lemon Drop (LD) finish. One of the rarest LPCs produced, these were a limited Yamano Order run, featuring a full flame maple cap top, non-catalog LD lacquer finish, and 50's style knobs and toggle switch plate. Only a handful of examples have popped up over the past decade—this being the only one finished in LD.

Manufactured at the Terada factory in Japan. Serial begins with "2", and pots are dated March, 1992.

100% fully functional.

Set up with D'Addario 10-46 strings, playing up and down the neck with proper intonation.

Includes battered, but functional Gibson USA hard case.

Condition

Cosmetically the 30+ year old instrument is in good shape, with various minor chips, dings, scratches, and superficial finish wear commensurate with age. Gold hardware has patina. Finish chips on tip of headstock. Buckle rash on back of body and control cavity plastic. "Bubbling" of lacquer around tuners on headstock face. A few small spots of lacquer burn/melting on front (neck pickup) and sides of body on the binding.

Frets have some wear, primarily in the open chord area beneath the unwound strings, lessening as it progresses up to the twelfth fret. No buzzing/fretting out/etc with normal action. Rosewood fretboard has wear/minor divots from play. Back of the neck has various minor dings, which aren't distracting while playing.

Neck is straight, and truss rod functions properly.

Headstock crack (not break) professionally repaired by Portland Fretworks.
