1992 Fender Japan TL-105 order Telecaster in 2-tone sunburst (2T), featuring an incredibly unique mahogany body with birdseye maple veneers, gold hardware, and factory Stratocaster neck pickup.

This is the only documented example for this order number and specification.

Manufactured at the Fujigen factory in Japan. “A” serial prefix; pots dated 1992. Order “K-239”.

100% fully functional and original (except for replaced strap buttons).

Set up with D'Addario 10-46 strings, playing well up and down the neck with proper intonation.

Includes newer SKB hard case.

Condition

Cosmetically the 34+ year old instrument is in very good shape, with various minor dings, scratches, and finish wear commensurate with age. Clear coat has yellowed with age. Gold hardware has patina. Minor finish cracking at binding throughout. Tuning head plastic has some minor cracking from age.

Frets have minor wear, and were likely leveled in the past. No divots/buzzing/etc. Fretboard has a string indentation on bass side of second fret. Handful of minor dings on the back of the neck.

Modifications

- Strap buttons replaced (2000's Fender Japan CIJ)
