1992 Fender Japan ST72 Custom Edition Order scalloped neck, paired with a 1980's Tokai body—someone's amalgamation of Yngwie and Ritchie's iconic Strats.

Insane birdseye maple figuring and a very dark rosewood fretboard. Very comfortable oval "C" profile with slick finish.

Neck manufactured at the FujiGen factory in Japan. "M" serial prefix denotes 1992–1993 production. “KM” order number prefix on the neck, many of which were one-off customer orders.

The neck has seen some serious play, and has the fret wear to prove it. It has just been partially leveled and with full pocket maple shim plays fine as is, but big bends may cause fretting out in the higher register. You may be able to get away with a full level before a refret, but frets would be quite low. Electronics have been fully changed by previous owner(s).

Overall, it's a playable partscaster that could use some additional TLC, and a chance to own a rare, unique spec Fender Japan Custom Edition neck.

100% fully functional.

Professionally set up with D'Addario 10-46 strings, playing well up and down the neck with proper intonation (given the aforementioned caveats with fret wear).

Includes original deluxe Fender Japan gig bag. No vibrato arm.
