1989 Fender Japan PJR-65R Order Made in Natural (NAT) finish. Compared to typical PJR catalog models with Indonesian camphor/composite wood bodies—this is the only known example with a sen (Japanese ash) body.

Manufactured at the FujiGen factory in Japan. Order Made stamp and "YO-003" order number denotes instrument was made in 1989 (based on subsequent order numbers).

100% fully functional.

Set up with 105-45 strings, playing well up and down the neck with proper intonation.

Includes generic gig bag.

Condition

Cosmetically the 35+ year old instrument is in very good shape, with various minor dings, scratches, and finish wear commensurate with age. Body finish has general patina/degradation of clear coat common with early Fender Japan instruments. Gold hardware has patina. Star sticker burn-in on front of body.

Frets have minor wear. No divots/buzzing/etc. A few minor chips/imperfections on fretboard edges. Various minor dings on the back of the neck, which are not too distracting while playing.
