Based on a Telecaster Custom used by Harry (Hiroaki Murakoshi) from The Street Sliders, these were a non-catalog/shop order unofficial artist model, referred to as the “Street Version” in marketing materials/magazines. (Fender Japan’s use of different body and neck finishes is quite obvious on these fully painted models, as the body finish is yellowed compared to the neck.)
Manufactured at the FujiGen factory in Japan. Pots are dated 1998. The "Y" order number prefix denotes a Yamano custom order. (The "491" on the neck heel is a production code, found on some early order models. CTC-50 is an early code used for Telecaster Customs, the "R" suffix denoting a rosewood fretboard.)
100% functional without issues.
Set up with D'Addario 11-49 strings, playing well up and down the neck with proper intonation.
Includes generic gig bag.
