1985 Fender Japan JM66-70 Jazzmaster in Vintage White (VWH), with dark rosewood fretboard, subtly flamed maple neck, and ideal slim oval 60’s neck profile. “E5…” serial prefix denotes first year of production—manufactured at the FujiGen factory.

100% fully functional.

Set up with D'Addario 10-46 strings, playing up and down the neck with proper intonation.

Includes new Fender gig bag and original vibrato arm.

Condition

Cosmetically the 40 year old instrument is in very good shape with various minor dings, scratches, and superficial finish wear commensurate with age. White body finish is faded and has patina. Chrome hardware has patina. Pickguard has pick markings from play. Minor red discoloration on back of bottom headstock contour.

Frets have been leveled previously, and have minor wear with no divots. Back of the neck is clean with no major dings.
