Bizarre "Freeflyte" version of the 1983 Telecaster—seemingly a limited production or prototype model. It has the same features as the "Standard" Telecaster from the 1983 CBS catalog for the Japanese market, but features the Freeflyte tremolo system only found on the Stratocaster models from that year. Pots are dated September 1983. Produced at the FujiGen factory in Japan.

100% fully functional.

Set up with D'Addario 10-46 strings, playing well up and down the neck with proper intonation.

Includes gig bag. No vibrato arm.

Condition

Condition is good for a 30 year old instrument. Body finish has various scratches, dings and chips commensurate with age. Pickguard has markings from play, and ghosting from a circular sticker. Chrome hardware has patina.

Frets have wear. Fretboard finish has wear, primarily in the open chord area. Neck has been sanded to a matte finish.
